Job Summary
Technical Lead for the Guinean Forests Integrated Program to oversee regional programme leadership, budgeting, monitoring, and stakeholder engagement across West Africa. Drive collaboration with partners and governments, embed inclusive and sustainable practices, provide technical leadership and capacity building, and ensure compliance with donor requirements, while traveling up to 30% of time. Requires a postgraduate qualification in a related field, substantial experience leading multi-partner conservation initiatives, and fluency in English and French.
Required Qualifications
- Postgraduate qualification (or equivalent experience) in Sustainable Development, Natural Resources Management, Biodiversity Conservation, Ecology, Environmental Studies, or a related field.
- Experience leading complex, multi-partner programmes.
- Fluent in English and French (Portuguese a plus).
- Ability to travel up to 30% of time.
- Strong track record in biodiversity conservation, landscape management and sustainable development.
