Job Summary
In this Technical Lead role for Forensic Electrical Engineering, you will serve as the technical lead on forensic electrical investigations, directing root cause analysis and damage assessments. This position involves providing expert guidance and mentoring to engineers, authoring detailed forensic reports, and delivering expert witness testimony. Collaboration is key, as you will work with internal teams and clients to define project scopes, maintain high safety standards during inspections, and support business development efforts to grow client relationships and service offerings.
Required Qualifications
- Licensed Professional Engineer (P.E.) in Texas or eligible by reciprocity.
- 10+ years of experience with electrical systems design or analysis.
- Minimum 5 years in forensic engineering.
- Proven experience in electrical failure investigations, fire, and explosion analysis.
- Strong technical writing and communication skills.
- Ability to travel regionally and nationally.
- Proficiency with industry software and tools.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S.
Desired Qualifications
- Multi-state licensure preferred.
- Expert witness experience strongly preferred.
- Certifications such as CFEI (NAFI) and CFI preferred.
- NCEES Record preferred for multi-state licensing.
