Job Summary
Own architecture and technical design for a privacy-first data-sharing platform and AI-driven fraud-management pipeline in a regulated FinTech environment. Set security, quality, and release frameworks; build agentic workflows with evaluation guardrails; and act as the technical counterpart to senior client-side architects. Lead verification through testing strategy and CI gates, while coordinating team delivery, mentoring engineers, and managing work allocation. Work with GCP, Python, and TypeScript stacks to enable secure, compliant data exchange between financial institutions.
Required Qualifications
- 6+ years building production software, with the depth to contribute hands-on and help guide technical decisions
- Hands-on AI development (a must): coding agents (Claude Code, Codex, Cursor) on real work; builds agentic systems, not just prompts a chatbot
- Strong distributed-systems and API design skills, with a security-minded approach to OAuth/OIDC and data protection
- Rigorous about quality: comfortable shaping automated testing strategy and CI discipline, and verifying rather than assuming
- A systems and critical-thinking mindset: able to reason about risk in both software and the surrounding process or policy
- Strong customer-facing communication and the ability to work well with technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Fluent English
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in highly regulated, process-driven industries is a strong plus; banking/FinTech is especially relevant
- Familiarity with GDPR, BaFin/MaRisk, PSD2, SOC 2, or ISO 27001 is helpful
- German
