Job Summary
Technical Lead Engineer responsible for delivering high-quality embedded software for proprietary I&C systems; leads the Software Engineering team, drives project reviews, defines technical direction, mentors junior engineers, and engages customers to define scope and discuss risks. Requires deep experience with embedded C, system design/IV&V, and experience managing requirements and project execution in a regulated environment (nuclear/IT controls). Must coordinate with Project Managers, ensure policy and process adherence, support budgets/proposals, and enable cross-functional collaboration across US/Canada sites with hybrid onsite presence. Strong leadership, communication, and ability to drive technical excellence and timely delivery are essential.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in electrical, computer or software engineering
- Minimum 10 years of experience in embedded C code (building, testing, debugging)
- Minimum 5 years of experience performing independent or team-based system design or technical reviews including interfacing with requirements management, IV&V
