Job Summary
Lead the modeling and simulation of drinking water treatment processes using advanced computational tools. Ensure designs comply with all applicable environmental regulations and standards while conducting assessments to identify improvements in existing systems. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to design and implement innovative solutions, providing technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers. Prepare regulatory submissions and engage with stakeholders, including agencies and community members, to discuss project developments. Assist with business planning and pursue new opportunities. Requires a Bachelor's degree with 10+ years of experience and BC Professional Engineer registration. Based in one of three BC offices with travel for site visits.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- 10+ years of relevant engineering experience
- demonstrated equivalency of experience and education in drinking water treatment engineering
- Registered as a Professional Engineer in the province of BC
- eligibility to become registered within 12 months
- Bachelor's degree, English major preferred

- 20+ years of experience in drinking water treatment engineering
- Strong knowledge of water quality standards, treatment processes, and environmental regulations
- Experience understanding client challenges and developing practical engineering solutions
- Master's degree in related field or demonstrated experience
- Advanced knowledge of water treatment processes, technologies, and industry best practices
- Expertise in water treatment modeling software and data analysis tools
- Strong understanding of local, provincial, and federal regulations related to water treatment and quality
- AWWA certifications or other relevant water treatment specialties
- Travel as needed for project site visits and client meetings
