Job Summary
Lead design and implementation of enterprise data management capabilities, including a universal data catalog, metadata management, and standardized semantic definitions across platforms. Partner with business, technology, risk, and control stakeholders to operationalize data models that improve consistency for analytics and AI workflows. Build SOX-aligned governance frameworks covering ownership, lineage, controls, and policy adherence to support audit and regulatory requirements. Modernize data entitlement models for scalable, policy-based access management while establishing operating models that increase data discoverability and reduce fragmentation. Mentor engineers and translate strategic priorities into an executable roadmap aligned with enterprise architecture. This pivotal role defines the governance foundation enabling trustworthy analytics and agentic AI adoption within a complex, highly controlled environment.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- 8+ years of experience in data engineering, data architecture, data management, or related disciplines
- experience in leadership on enterprise-scale initiatives
- experience in complex, highly controlled environments
- Deep expertise in data cataloging and metadata management
- Deep expertise in data lineage and governance frameworks
- Deep expertise in auditability / controls / regulatory compliance-oriented implementations
