Job Summary
Lead the design and delivery of modern, production-grade web applications using contemporary UI technologies and frameworks. Architect solutions balancing user experience, performance, scalability, and delivery constraints. Set technical direction and standards across systems, ensuring quality and long-term maintainability. Mentor engineers across multiple workstreams and partner with client stakeholders as a trusted technical advisor. Contribute to Lab49’s Interactive Practice through standards, mentoring, and solution design. Senior-level leadership, with 10+ years of experience designing and delivering complex software, strong JavaScript/TypeScript skills (React/Angular/Vue), and domain experience in banking/financial services. Strong communication skills to influence technical and non-technical stakeholders and drive successful client outcomes.
Required Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience designing and building complex, commercial-grade software systems
- Proven track record leading UI development streams for large-scale projects
- Deep expertise in JavaScript and TypeScript with modern UI frameworks (React, Angular, Vue)
- Strong understanding of end-to-end web application architecture, APIs, data flow, and performance
- Experience with AI/LLM tooling, automation frameworks, or engineering agents
- Strong SDLC, CI/CD, automated testing
- Experience in banking, payments, or financial services
- Excellent communication and stakeholder influence
