Job Summary
Drive technicians through high-quality electric vehicle repair training while organizing classroom and shop settings for instructor-led sessions. Provide feedback from training sessions to the development team to build robust industry-leading content and support the Learning & Development team as a subject matter expert. Maintain classroom and shop cleanliness, order consumable and parts inventory, and manage student records and scheduling with the training coordinator. Stay current on latest procedures and best practices with the technical team while complying with all safety rules and quality standards. Some international travel is necessary for on-site training support at facilities nationally and internationally.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years plus of technical training in the automotive field
- 5+ years of working in the automotive repair industry
- Associate's degree in automotive or equivalent work experience
- In-depth knowledge of electric vehicle repair techniques, tools, and equipment
- Deep understanding of basic electrical skills, network diagnostics and high voltage systems
- Strong presentation and communication skills, with the ability to engage and teach a diverse audience
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines
- Ability to work from the service center in Rowell GA
- Willingness to travel to provide on-site training and support at facilities both nationally and internationally
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing requirements and technologies
Desired Qualifications
- ASE Certifications are encouraged and advantageous
- Certifications in electric/hybrid vehicle repair are advantageous
- General understanding of the training development process
- Previous OEM training experience preferred
- Proficient with the Microsoft Office suite of software
