Job Summary
Aircraft UH-60 Technical Inspector responsible for field-level Quality Control, Environmental and Safety Programs. Inspect, repair, calibrate, and verify UH-60/MDS aircraft systems per maintenance manuals and military publications; approve or reject work, review procedures, analyze defects and trends, monitor safety/certification, perform daily safety and FOD inspections, and maintain calibration records. Requires High School or equivalent, 5 years of aircraft maintenance experience, FAA A&P or FCC Elements 1 and 3, FAA A&P certificate with at least 1 year inspecting UH60, IA preferred, ability to obtain US security clearances, and deployment readiness for Germany.
Required Qualifications
- High School Graduate or equivalent
- Five (5) years of recent applicable aircraft maintenance experience
- FAA A&P or FCC Elements 1 and 3 Required
- Must possess FAA A&P Certificate with at least One (1) year of experience inspecting UH60
- If No A&P (FCC Elements 1 and 3 required); with FCC License candidate have a minimum Five (5) years of experience inspecting UH60
- FAA IA - Inspection Authorization strongly preferred; if no IA, five (5) years as Aircraft Inspector on UH60 MDS airframe
- Ability to obtain and maintain a US Government Security Clearance, NAC-I T1 Public Trust; US Citizenship required for T1/CAC NACI Clearance; Interim NACI approval for deployment
- Germany Specific: TESA approval; 5 years career Aviation maintenance in last 5 years
- Travel: As required in support of task order
- Knowledge of electrical, electronic, mechanical systems; troubleshooting; reading and interpreting technical data
- Must be able to climb, lift up to 50 pounds; deployable to combat areas; willingness to deploy
