Job Summary
Select HYDAC products by evaluating competitive alternatives and executing conversions when availability is low. Assist customers with product selection, configuration, and application support using specifications and catalogs. Communicate pricing, delivery status, and lead times while expediting orders and monitoring regional leads. Develop quotes and support house accounts through virtual calls and targeted marketing efforts. Potentially visit distributors for training and technical assistance. This onsite role in Bethlehem, PA requires an associate or bachelor's degree in fluid power or mechanical engineering, SAP proficiency, and the ability to work independently.
Required Qualifications
- Technical capability to understand and recommend product
- Ability to understand and communicate technical specification from catalog or specification sheet
- Ability to develop and foster customer relationships
- Strong interpersonal skills including the ability to develop cross-functional relationships
- Strong written and verbal communication skills including writing business correspondence
- Strong organizational skills
- Willingness to travel when needed
- Ability to use the Internet, Project Management software, spreadsheets and word processing software
- Ability to work in SAP
- Ability to work independently to set daily priorities and workload
Desired Qualifications
- Associate or Bachelor's degree preferred
- Experience or education in fluid power, mechanical engineering, or mechatronics
- Technical support experience preferred
