Job Summary
Provide pre-sale applications engineering support via phone, email, and web to national resellers. Assist in defining technical pre-sales elements for marketing collateral, conduct bid spec reviews, and serve as the escalation point for technical questions. Deliver competitive evaluations and technical sales support through training and presentations to position information effectively. Interface daily with national reseller technical and sales teams, as well as internal support groups. Requires 0-1 years of application engineering experience and strong presentation skills. Up to 10% quarterly time travel is required.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in electrical or mechanical engineering or other technical degree
- Associates degree or Military certification with at least 3 years of directly related work experience
- 5 years of directly related work experience
- 0-1 years of application engineering experience
- Strong computer skills, including working knowledge of MS Office suite
- Highly detail-oriented with a critical degree of accuracy regarding problem-solving and analytical skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Strong presentation skills
- Capability of effectively interacting with global personnel
- Professional attitude towards customer relations
- Up to 10% quarterly travel
