Job Summary
Organize and create internal technical documentation across data centres, networks, cloud and on‐premises compute; edit, streamline, and ensure accuracy and consistency of documentation; translate complex systems into clear how‐to guides for technical audiences; support engineers with SOPs and other tech docs; design and maintain technical diagrams and templates; collaborate with global teams to set documentation standards and requirements; contribute to documentation that reflects PlayStation brand and technical operations.
Required Qualifications
- BS/BA in Technical Communication, English, Computer Science, or equivalent preferred
- 3+ years of relevant experience in a Technical Documentation or related role, in addition to an IT, network, software development or related field
- Experience with Atlassian Confluence and Jira
- Comfortable with using Unix-like operating systems, code repositories like GitHub and GitLab, and network infrastructure configuration
- Familiarity with data centres, cloud and on-premises infrastructure
- Experience creating diagrams and visual assets (workflow charts, banners, images, presentations)
- High competency with written and spoken English
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Professional experience collaborating with global operations teams across different time zones and countries
- Familiarity with languages other than English (e.g., Japanese) is a plus
