Job Summary
Technical Implementation Specialist I at NCR Voyix staffing a high-volume Service Desk. The role provides technical phone and email support for NCR products and services, ensures contract SLAs are met, remotely delivers solutions, escalates issues to next levels, and uses ticketing systems (ServiceNow/JIRA) to manage incidents. Requires troubleshooting hardware/software, knowledge of Windows 10/11, Microsoft 365, networking concepts (LAN/WAN, IP, VPN, AD), and familiarity with knowledge-base and ticketing tools. Strong communication and multi-tasking skills, with a required Public Trust clearance and availability for an 11 am–8 pm EST shift. Salary range $65,100–$97,700 with full benefits. Location is Germantown, MD (US).
Required Qualifications
- Associates or Bachelors degree in IT or related field or equivalent experience required
- Minimum of 2 years Help Desk or related IT experience
- Understanding of Windows 10, Windows 11
- Microsoft 365
- LAN and WAN terminology, IP protocols, Ports, VPN connections
- Active Directory
- Knowledge Base Systems such as QuickBase and Confluence
- Ticket systems such as ServiceNow, Remedy, or JIRA
- Hardware troubleshooting including retail peripherals (printers, scanners, scales)
- Excellent written and verbal English communication
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Attention to detail
- Sense of urgency
- Ability to multi-task
- Flexibility to work evenings/weekends
- Public Trust Clearance to be eligible
- Ability to work in a high call volume Service Desk environment
