Job Summary
Lead system upgrades and release management for JCDecaux UK, overseeing the complete lifecycle from planning to post-implementation review. Develop strategic plans prioritizing upgrades based on business needs and vulnerabilities while coordinating with Business Intelligence, Data Services, and developers to ensure alignment. Manage a team of Implementation Analysts and Legacy Application Support Consultants, establishing protocols for controlled testing and serving as the primary contact for implementation queries. Foster vendor relationships to guarantee third-party solutions meet technical standards and maintain rigorous documentation of all processes and outcomes. Regularly update stakeholders on upcoming changes and potential downtimes, translating technical concepts for non-technical audiences.
Required Qualifications
- Degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- Extensive experience in system implementation, upgrade management, and release processes
- Familiarity with cloud platforms, especially Azure
- Demonstrated ability to lead technical teams and manage large-scale technical projects
- Solid understanding of software development life cycle and release management protocols
- Proficiency in English
- Proven project management skills, with an ability to handle multiple projects concurrently
- Detail-oriented with a focus on quality and user experience
- Self-driven with a passion for technological innovation
- Exceptional communication and team leadership skills
