Job Summary
Monitor HP security systems in real time and at rest, while supporting colleagues in resolving security technology issues. Aggregate knowledge of industry threats and perform routine maintenance and enhancements on security solutions to ensure delivery of defined best practices. Exercise independent judgment within defined parameters while acting as a team member providing analysis and recommendations. Requires a Bachelor's degree and fundamental cyber security knowledge, including scripting languages and risk assessment skills. Full-time role in India with no shift premium.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- Fundamental Cyber and IT security knowledge
- Fundamental understanding of Cyber and IT security risks, threats and prevention measures
- Fundamental understanding of relevant scripting languages (perl, python, powershell, HTML, javascript, etc.)
- Fundamental security system analysis skills
- Fundamental understanding of security standards and best practices
- Fundamental risk assessment and management skills
- Fundamental understanding of networking and network security
- Fundamental understanding of network monitoring and protocols
- Fundamental understanding of one or more of the following: Off-the-shelf vulnerability assessment products and tools, Network security devices (firewalls, proxies, NIDS/NIPS, etc.), Platform and application-layer penetration testing techniques, Adversary techniques, tactics, and protocols and related countermeasures, Dynamic and static malware analysis techniques, Network security monitoring, Memory analysis techniques, Malware reverse engineering techniques, Digital Forensics
Desired Qualifications
- Technical Cyber Security Certification through one of the recognized bodies preferred: SANS, ISACA, (ICS)2, CompTIA, Cisco, CERT etc
- General experience preferred, but not required in relevant technologies, products and customer environments
