Job Summary
Technical/Functional Expert – Server provides senior-level infrastructure server and sustainment support for HPC and enterprise environments. Acts as a technical authority for advanced troubleshooting, system architecture, technology integration, and long-term sustainment planning. Key duties include delivering Tier 0–4 server support, serving as escalation point for complex issues, designing and configuring server platforms, managing storage (SAN, NFS, CIFS), administering Linux/Unix/Solaris/Windows, supporting Exchange and identity services, maintaining monitoring/observability tools, supporting virtualization and container environments, integrating new technologies, coordinating Government approvals, and documenting architectures and sustainment processes to ensure performance, availability, and security across dispersed locations.
Required Qualifications
- Active TS/SCI clearance with Full Scope Polygraph (most recent poly within the last 7 years)
- DoD 8570 IAT II certification
- Extensive experience supporting enterprise and HPC server environments
- Deep expertise with Linux, Unix, Solaris, and Windows operating systems
- Experience with SAN and direct-attached storage solutions
- Strong background in system architecture and infrastructure design
- Experience supporting virtualization and container technologies
- Experience integrating new technologies into production environments
- Strong troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and performance tuning skills
- Strong documentation and technical communication skills
- Ability to support mission-critical systems in a 24/7 operational environment
- Ability to collaborate with Government and contractor stakeholders
