Job Summary
Technical Field Advisor responsible for all technical aspects, support, and advice before, during and after overhaul, inspection, repair and installation of rotating equipment (centrifugal compressors, steam turbines, seals, valves, pumps, bearings, piping, and associated systems). Develop and review technical packages, inspection records forms, procedures, and BOMs; provide project management and field support; travel up to 75% and work night shifts as needed; requires TWIC and passport.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum high school and/or trade school graduate
- 10+ yrs. experience in rotating equipment and machinery (centrifugal compressor and steam turbine experience preferred)
- 10+ yrs. experience in the refinery and petrochemical industry
- Must be able to read, comprehend, and translate technical drawings
- Proficient with MS Office (Word and Excel etc.), Adobe
- Intermediate or higher level of computer skills (email, internet etc.)
- Expert in rotating equipment alignment (laser and dial indicator)
- Must be willing to travel by air when required
- Must be willing to work night shift when required
- Ability to travel up 75%
- TWIC cardholder
- Passport holder
