Technical Facility Manager (Asaba)

Job Summary
Coordinate and supervise maintenance of building systems, mechanical, electrical, and civil assets to minimize downtime. Monitor contractors and service providers against quality, safety, and service level agreements while conducting routine facility inspections. Ensure compliance with Health, Safety, and Environment policies and statutory regulations. Prepare technical reports, maintenance documentation, and budgets. Maintain accurate asset records and support implementation of best practices in facility management. Must hold a first degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline with 8–10 years of experience. Requires strong BMS knowledge, troubleshooting skills, and leadership abilities. Candidate must reside in Asaba, Delta State.
Required Qualifications
- First in Civil Engineering or a related Engineering discipline
- 8–10 years of relevant experience in technical facility management, building maintenance, or engineering operations
- Strong knowledge of Building Management Systems (BMS) and facility infrastructure
- Excellent troubleshooting, problem-solving, and project coordination skills
- Strong communication, leadership, and stakeholder management abilities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and facility maintenance reporting tools
- Must currently reside in Asaba, Delta State, or its environs
- Able to work independently while effectively coordinating with cross-functional teams
- Highly organized, proactive, and committed to operational excellence
- Good professional appearance and attitude
- Diplomatic, tactful, discreet, flexible, resourceful and dependable
- Excellent leadership and project management skills
- Outstanding organizational skills
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high safety standards
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in lift/elevator management will be a distinct advantage
