Job Summary
As a Technical Executive in Water Treatment, you will lead process engineering for Water Treatment Plants (WTPs) and Wastewater Treatment Plants (WWTPs) on significant infrastructure programs. Responsibilities include delivering water and wastewater treatment projects, technical leadership in treatment processes, driving high‐quality design and risk management, applying modelling techniques to inform design decisions, and mentoring junior engineers. The role demands strong technical expertise in water and wastewater processes, including design, optimisation, and compliance with relevant legislation.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical Engineering (or equivalent)
- MIEAust/IChemE, CPEng and RPEQ
- Significant experience in the Australian water industry
- Proven technical capability across water and/or wastewater process engineering
- Strong experience in WTP/WWTP process design
- Ability to break down complex technical problems
- Demonstrated ability to innovate and challenge the status quo
- Strong understanding of environmental considerations in treatment design
- Experience in CHAIR, HAZOP, Safety‐in‐Design
- Ability to provide technical review and verification for medium to large projects
