Technical Engineering Manager - Cloud/Dev Ops

Job Summary
Lead Technical Engineering teams in DevOps & Cloud, guiding cloud-native architecture, CI/CD, IaC, automation, observability, security, and reliability across client engagements. Own delivery across multiple teams, manage scope, timelines, release readiness, and post-production support. Serve as primary technical advisor to clients, conduct architecture reviews, design discussions, and provide stakeholder communication. Mentor engineers, drive performance reviews, and foster a high-performance engineering culture. Align work with FinOps, cloud cost optimization, and operational excellence; monitor metrics such as DORA, cycle time, and reliability.
Required Qualifications
- 7+ years hands-on experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, Platform Engineering, or Site Reliability Engineering.
- 3+ years of experience leading engineering teams and technical leaders.
- Strong experience with at least one major cloud platform: AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
- Experience supporting cloud-native architectures, microservices, event-driven systems, and modern application platforms.
- Proven experience managing delivery across multiple teams or workstreams.
- Strong client-facing communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience reviewing technical solutions and guiding architecture decisions.
- Professional-level English communication skills (B2+/C1).
- Experience leading teams of approximately 15–20 engineers across multiple squads (preferred).
- Experience in consulting or client-services environments (preferred).
- Knowledge of FinOps, cloud cost optimization, and platform engineering practices (preferred).
- Experience with DevSecOps, security automation, and compliance frameworks (preferred).
- Relevant cloud certifications (AWS, Azure, or GCP) (preferred).
- Experience with engineering metrics and operational excellence frameworks (preferred).
