Job Summary
Own structural engineering methodologies, calculations, and documentation across the product portfolio, interpreting national and local building codes to translate them into practical design guidance. Develop and maintain engineering rules supporting Blueprint configuration, BOM generation, and digital engineering tools. Provide advanced support for complex customer applications, strategic accounts, and new market opportunities including Commercial & Industrial. Partner with Product Development to validate designs and establish engineering assumptions for new product introductions. Coordinate external consultants, PV designers, and permitting organizations while developing technical standards and reusable design practices. BS in Civil, Structural, or Mechanical Engineering required; PE preferred. Starting salary ranges from $110,570.94 to $147,427.92.
Required Qualifications
- BS in Civil, Structural or Mechanical Engineering
- 7+ years in structural or solar engineering
- Experience with ASCE 7, IBC, IRC, WFCM, and NDS codes
- Experience with construction project plan review and permitting processes
- Experience with structural analysis
- Customer-facing engineering

- PE
