Job Summary
Implement, configure, and maintain the VMware virtualization platform, including vSphere, vCenter, ESXi, NSX-T, and vRA. Troubleshoot issues within the environment and provide user support as needed. Collaborate with IT team members to ensure smooth and efficient operation of the virtualization infrastructure. This role requires a minimum of four years of production experience with VMware vSphere, vCenter, and ESXi, alongside strong networking knowledge and proficiency in vROPS, vSAN, and Powercli. The position is full-time in the San Francisco Bay Area with a salary range of $140,000–$180,000.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 4 years experience working with VMware vSphere in a production environment
- Experience configuring and managing VMware vCenter Server
- Experience with VMware ESXi server administration, vRealize Automation with Salt Stack and Powercli
- Knowledge of networking concepts and protocols (TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS), VMware vSphere, vROPS, vSAN and vRO, storage, networking, management, monitoring, security, performance, capacity, and availability
- Strong experience maintaining NSX-T environments
- Significant experience in building physical and virtual networks
