Job Summary
Support evaluations at customer sites for new and existing Inteplast BOPP films products, identifying packaging equipment and processing parameters to qualify films for markets including packaging, labels, lamination, and industrial applications. Investigate production data on customer rejected material to determine trends or incidental occurrences, assist with root cause analysis in quality claims, and facilitate resolutions for performance issues. Assist R & D production trials in BOPP assets and serve as a bridge between the marketplace and production to bring field improvements. Interact with internal customers including sales, quality, purchasing, and manufacturing to provide support. Prepare trip reports to summarize activities after customer visits. This role requires at least 5 years of related experience in the BOPP or plastic films industry, with travel up to 50% of the time.

Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Plastic Engineering, Polymer Science, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering or related field
- Basic understanding and knowledge of basic statistical tools
- Minitab is a plus
