Job Summary
Technical Engineer II focused on Oracle development. Design, develop, and maintain enterprise applications using Oracle Forms and Oracle Reports; write, analyze, and optimize PL/SQL code, including stored procedures, functions, packages, triggers, and cursors. Tune long-running SQL queries to improve performance; collaborate with business analysts and developers to implement solutions; conduct unit testing, debugging, and issue resolution; create and maintain technical documentation and system architecture; ensure data integrity and implement security measures; support ETL processes when required. Required Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Technical Expertise: Oracle development with Oracle Forms and Oracle Reports; proficiency in Oracle SQL and advanced PL/SQL.
- Experience: Proven experience in Oracle application development; knowledge of performance tuning techniques (e.g., TKPROF, EXPLAIN PLAN); familiarity with database tools like Toad or Oracle SQL Developer.
- Soft Skills: excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities; strong communication and teamwork.
- Preferred: knowledge of Unix/Linux shell scripting; familiarity with Agile or Waterfall methodologies.
