Job Summary
Manage Linux and Unix infrastructure by applying advanced analytical skills to implement solutions supporting command decision-making and mission execution. Deploy new technologies and equipment while providing full coverage for systems administration, including upgrades, patching, and troubleshooting. Design next-generation automation solutions using RedHat Openshift, Ansible, Docker, and Kubernetes to integrate third-party applications and manage containerized environments. Monitor RedHat platform security and health, generate daily reports, and establish granular access controls with robust backup protocols. Troubleshoot complex storage problems across enterprise networks and examine procedures to identify efficiencies. Maintain configuration documentation and advise on standard operating procedures to ensure business continuity for government incident response operations.
Required Qualifications
- U.S. Citizenship
- Active DoD Secret Clearance
- Must be able to obtain DHS Suitability
- BS Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Computer Information Systems, Computer Systems Engineering or related degree or HS Diploma and 4+ years lab management or systems administration experience
- 2+ years of directly relevant experience as a Linux System Administrator
- 2+ years MacOS and iOS experience
- Must be able to work collaboratively across physical locations
Desired Qualifications
- TS/SCI is preferred
- Experience with writing technical procedures and standard operating procedures
- Virtualization automation and optimization
- Experience with multiple operating systems to include Linux/Unix, Windows, MacOS
- DoD 8140.01 IAT Level II Certification
