Job Summary
Technical Editor SME to provide editorial quality assurance for technical and stakeholder-facing products. Responsibilities include editing and reviewing reports, articles, newsletters, web content, presentations, social media content, and briefing materials; ensuring compliance with grammar, style, branding, formatting, and editorial standards; improving clarity and audience appropriateness of technical and non-technical content; conducting publication readiness and quality assurance reviews; maintaining editorial guidelines, templates, and review processes; coordinating with writers, designers, web teams, and leadership stakeholders; recommending improvements to editorial workflows and content quality processes; developing job aids, templates, and guidance materials supporting Section 508-compliant document creation; promoting accessibility best practices among content contributors.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in related field
- 6 years of experience (or 8 years) editing technical and programmatic content for diverse audiences
- Strong attention to detail and editorial judgment
- Experience supporting multiple concurrent deliverables
