Job Summary

Provide expert technical editing for analytic products, ensuring accuracy, clarity, and compliance with Intelligence Community standards. Review and refine draft materials for senior executives, applying grammar, formatting, and style guidance to produce publication-ready documents. Manage content within the customer's system, coordinate iterative edits with authors and visual designers, and prepare final deliverables in Microsoft Word and Adobe Acrobat PDF. Disseminate intelligence products to dissemination officers and engage with senior officials to facilitate mission alignment. Mentor customer personnel on writing best practices while operating independently in a fast-paced, on-call environment. Work a staggered four-day schedule from 10:00am to 8:00pm Eastern Time, remaining on site until products are complete.

Required Qualifications

  • Current TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph
  • Bachelor's degree
  • 12+ years of relevant experience
  • 10 years with an MS/MA Degree
  • 7 years with a PhD
  • 4 years experience (used in lieu of degree)
  • Expert-level proficiency in technical writing and editing
  • Strong knowledge of intelligence analysis and IC writing standards
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word
  • Proficiency with Adobe Acrobat Pro
  • Proficiency with content management systems
  • Proven ability to produce high-quality analytic products under tight deadlines
  • Ability to manage multiple assignments in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience leading or supporting teams in preparing and reviewing technical documents
  • Experience mentoring less experienced personnel on writing and editing best practices
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate across diverse stakeholders
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Experience interacting directly with executive-level officials
  • Ability to operate independently in a fast-paced production environment with minimal to no guidance
  • Must be available for on-call editing and dissemination support as necessitated by world events
  • Must be available for a staggered, four-day schedule from 10:00am to 8:00pm Eastern Time
  • Must remain on site until products are complete
