Job Summary

Conduct a comprehensive editorial review of the LCSFC Mid-Study Report to strengthen narrative flow, coherence, and publication quality while preserving technical integrity. Execute substantive copy-editing, reorganize sections, and harmonize terminology, figures, and references to produce a publication-ready manuscript. Develop and prepare an accompanying abridged report synthesizing key findings for policymakers and the public. Deliver the final edited manuscripts in MS Word format by October 2026, reporting to UNFPA Philippines in Mandaluyong City.

Required Qualifications

  • A first-level university degree in communications, journalism, English, development studies, economics, demography, public policy, public health, social sciences, or a related field
  • at least two (2) years of prior relevant professional experience in technical editing, report writing, publication development, or knowledge product development
  • Advanced university degree in the relevant field

Desired Qualifications

  • Familiarity with organizational branding and publication standards
  • Familiarity with demographic, population or development issues
  • Previous experience working with UN agencies, government, research institutions or development organizations
