Job Summary

Technical Due Diligence Consultant needed for contract engagements to support due diligence on carbon projects worldwide. Role involves country-specific expertise in land-use change, reforestation, biomass sourcing, and related policy, regulatory, and economic contexts. Responsibilities include research, data synthesis, stakeholder engagement, site visits where needed, and delivering comprehensive written reports with recommendations. Ideal candidates have experience in due diligence, impact assessments, or feasibility studies, strong analytical skills, and excellent English communication; knowledge of carbon rights and Article 6 policy is a plus. Flexible, project-based work with possible in-person site visits and collaboration with project teams and stakeholders.

Required Qualifications

  • Experience in technical due diligence, impact assessments, or feasibility studies
  • Expertise in biomass sourcing, ARR, Agroforestry, IFM, or Biochar
  • Strong research, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication in English
  • Ability to work independently on contract projects
  • Knowledge of country and region-specific policies related to land tenure, carbon rights, and Article 6 (a plus)
