Job Summary
Re-write, organize, and streamline documentation for a legacy IBMi Series and RPG-based banking system originally built in the 1970s. Work closely with developers to document software switches and client-specific configurations, while identifying gaps to reduce errors and improve maintainability. Create clear, user-friendly references that assist developers in adding new features and mitigating system failures. This role requires banking industry experience and familiarity with financial systems, with IBMi Series or RPG knowledge being highly desirable. You will engage with developers, engineers, and stakeholders to bring clarity to decades of complex technical systems.
