Job Summary

Technical Document & Data Control Specialist for manufacturing: Responsible for owning controlled engineering documentation and ERP master data (SolidWorks/EPDM, NetSuite item masters, BOMs, routings, notes, and work orders). Ensures accurate, released specifications and master data prior to production release and maintains during the production lifecycle. Manages Engineering Change Requests/Orders and deviations through routing approvals, tracking, and closure. Supports plant inquiries during business hours and participates in daily production cadence to minimize downtime due to documentation. Key duties include: preparing/releasing SolidWorks drawings and specifications, maintaining EPDM/PDM records and metadata, handling redlines and legacy cleanup, quick-turn editing and controlled release distribution, validating release content, preparing for Production Launch Review meetings; ERP administration (NetSuite master data, BOMs, routings, notes, packaging instructions), ensuring data alignment and run components, coordinating pack reprint when data changes, preventing revision drift; change control end-to-end (ECR/ECO), maintaining evidence folders, ensuring ISO 9001:2015 compliance, driving approved changes across EPDM and NetSuite, initiating deviations with proper classification and closure; production readiness and cross-functional coordination (daily meetings, cross-functional packet reviews, ensuring launch readiness, responding to manufacturing questions); external/offsite communication as needed (verify tool logos, component availability, release documentation); and a strong emphasis on cross-functional support, data integrity, and timely course-correction to support production timelines.

Required Qualifications

  • 3–5 years’ experience in a production environment for heavy gauge thermoforming
  • SolidWorks proficiency (drawings, revisions, release discipline)
  • NetSuite proficiency (item masters, BOMs, routings, routing notes)
  • EPDM/PDM release workflow experience and document metadata
  • ISO 9001:2015 document control and engineering change control experience
  • Microsoft Excel and Teams for trackers/audits/coordinations
  • Ability to provide urgent production support during normal business hours
  • ECR database administration experience
  • Legacy CAD/ERP data cleanup and maintenance experience
  • English fluency (B2 CEFR)

Desired Qualifications

  • 3–5 years’ experience supporting heavy gauge thermoforming in a production environment
  • Strong proficiency with SolidWorks (drawings, revisions, release discipline)
  • Strong proficiency with NetSuite (item masters, BOMs, routings, routing notes, packet-impacting data)
  • Working experience with EPDM/PDM release workflows, revision control, and document metadata
  • Demonstrated experience working within ISO 9001:2015 requirements for document control and engineering change control
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Teams for trackers, audits, and cross-functional coordination
  • Ability to support production questions with urgency and accuracy during normal business hours; strong follow-through to closure
  • Proficiency with ECR database administration (workflow configuration/support, evidence folder structure, reporting)
  • Demonstrated experience cleaning up and maintaining legacy CAD and ERP data at scale (high tool count / high change volume)
  • Fluency in English; B2 level minimum on CEFR
  • Global remote position (must be outside U.S.)
  • Reports to a U.S.-based Engineering Manager
