Job Summary
Technical Director coordinates all technical operators during live and recorded newscasts and productions, supervises camera/CG operators, and serves as a liaison between engineering and production. Responsible for directing camera/video staff on composition, switching video sources in real time during broadcasts, training operators, testing equipment, and ensuring a high-energy, clean delivery in collaboration with news producers.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma
- Fluency in English
- Minimum two years’ experience in news operations and production
- Proficiency with broadcast control equipment
- Ability to meet deadlines, prioritize assignments and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
