Job Summary
Oversee stage and event production including sound reinforcement, stage lighting, labor, and video. Direct, supervise, and schedule all production aspects, assigning stagehands and managing call structures to ensure safe, efficient, and contract-compliant operations. Advance performance elements, restore venue infrastructure to operational standards, and create, review, and correct union timesheets. Coordinate with departments and contractors, implement facility policies, and provide hands-on technical support for audio, visual, and stage systems. Serve as Manager on Duty during load-ins, performances, and loadouts, while training IATSE members and managing access security. Contribute to post-event evaluations and update operational procedures. Requires ability to work flexible, extended hours including nights, weekends, and holidays across Legends Global facilities in Wichita.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or its equivalency
- BA/BS Degree (4-year) preferred
- A minimum of 5 years of related work experience
- Knowledge and understanding of theatrical performance systems
- Supervisory experience
- Excellent organizational skills
- Ability to prioritize and to handle multiple projects simultaneously
- Good written, verbal and interpersonal skills
- Ability to effectively supervise staff
- Professional presentation, appearance and work ethic
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Excel
- Ability to learn Maintenance Manager Software program
- Ability to work with limited supervision
- Ability to work flexible and extended hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays, in addition to normal business hours
- Ability to walk extensively
- Ability to occasionally kneel
- Ability to climb to high walkways or balance
- Ability to occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
- Ability to work inside and outside of the building
- Exposure to adverse conditions
