Technical Director, EMEA Data Centers

Job Summary
Own and develop the EMEA data center technical delivery framework, covering design review, commissioning, and handover standards. Provide direct technical oversight on the region's most complex projects from feasibility through energization, resolving programme and cost risks while enforcing minimum governance standards. Build trusted relationships with client engineering leadership and lead technical due diligence and lessons-learned reviews. Champion the Ingenious platform and pilot new technologies to improve delivery speed and reduce risk. Ensure all projects meet HSSE requirements and regulatory audit standards, reporting material issues to regional governance. Drive technical capability across country teams through mentoring and structured knowledge-sharing.
Required Qualifications
- Degree-qualified in engineering, construction management, or a related technical discipline
- 15+ years' experience in data center design, construction, or project delivery
- significant hyperscale or colocation experience
- Proven track record leading complex, multi-disciplinary technical delivery across multiple EMEA jurisdictions
- Strong working knowledge of MEP systems, commissioning processes, and data center operational requirements
- Experience engaging directly with hyperscale or colocation client technical and engineering leadership
- Excellent stakeholder management skills
- Fluent English
- Willingness to travel extensively across EMEA markets
