Job Summary
Lead the delivery of complex, multi-disciplinary building projects across Australia and New Zealand, managing a large team of electrical building services engineers and modellers. Provide technical leadership and governance for design, ensuring compliance with Australian codes while reviewing calculations, specifications, and models to drive innovation. Build trusted client relationships to support business development and secure a pipeline of high-profile projects in sectors including health, defence, transport, and data centres. Mentor the multidisciplinary team to foster technical excellence and a high-performance culture, contributing to national strategy and capability development.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor of Electrical Engineering
- 20+ years of consultancy experience delivering complex building services engineering projects
- Chartership with Engineers Australia (CPEng), other equivalent registration and holds or is eligible for state level professional registration (RPEQ/RPEV)
- Extensive technical expertise in discipline related design, with deep knowledge of Australian codes, standards and regulations
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills, capable of engaging clients, contractors, consultants, and senior project teams
- Proven excellence in project and commercial management, leading multi-disciplinary teams on high-profile, technically challenging projects
- Demonstrated leadership, emotional intelligence and fostering of a high-performing, technically capable team with the strong team culture
- Australian Citizenship
- eligible for Defence Security Clearance
