Technical Director - Building Engineering

Technical Director level leadership for AECOM's Building Engineering team in Perth, leading delivery of complex, multi-disciplinary building projects across ANZ; provide technical leadership and governance to ensure compliance with Australian codes, standards, and best-practice engineering; drive innovation in design calculations, specifications, models, and documentation; build and maintain trusted client relationships to support business development and secure a strong project pipeline; mentor multidisciplinary services engineering teams and contribute to local and national capability development; strengthen Building Services capability across ANZ with focus on health, education, defence, transport, commercial, aviation, sports and data centres; qualifications include Bachelor-level engineering in Civil/Structural/Electrical/Mechanical and Chartered status (CPEng) or eligible; extensive consultancy experience (20+ years), exceptional communication and stakeholder management, and demonstrated leadership in multi-disciplinary project delivery; Australian citizenship and Defence security clearance are highly preferred; flexible work arrangements including hybrid options, along with opportunities for growth and development.
