Technical Director - Battery Energy Storage System

Job Summary
Lead the technical management and delivery of renewable projects with a focus on Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) across development, design, procurement, installation, commissioning and operations; provide technical leadership and QA/QC oversight, mentor junior engineers, and support business development in the Philippines by preparing proposals and bids. Roles include Project Director/Manager or Technical Lead for BESS and multidisciplinary projects, ensuring on-time delivery within budget and high quality standards, with collaboration across disciplines and with GHD’s National Sector Lead for BESS. The role operates in a hybrid model with in-office collaboration three days a week, based in Makati or Quezon City, Philippines.
Required Qualifications
- BS degree in Electrical Engineering
- minimum 10 years of industry experience in BESS projects
- exposure in a consulting environment is an advantage
