Job Summary
Oversee and supervise all activities of the student organization at Glenbard East High School, including managing elections, certifying results, approving candidates for club offices, training officers and members, ensuring compliance with constitutions/charters, approving club announcements and events, attending meetings and fundraisers, maintaining equipment inventory, completing required forms and reports, coordinating with the APSS/Activity Director for accounts access in Skyward, representing the club at events, and ensuring adherence to handbook guidelines. Strong emphasis on written and oral communication, organization, leadership development, and collaboration with school administration and staff.
Required Qualifications
- Supervise all activities of the student organization
- Approve all candidates for each club office before elections
- Train officers and members in the handling of their offices
- Submit the constitution or charter to APSS when first organized
- Approve all club announcements, meeting dates, club activities, flyers, etc.
- Be present at meetings, social events, and fund-raising activities
- Make an annual inventory of equipment and supplies
- Complete forms and reports as directed in the Student Activities Handbook
- Coordinate with APSS/Activity Director to access accounts in Skyward
- Consult with APSS when necessary for smooth functioning of the club
- Represent club at Activity Night and Booster Award Night
- Ensure representation at Presidents Council Meeting
- Follow guidelines in Student Activity and Convenience Funds Handbook
- Knowledge and Skills: reading, writing, presenting, communication, problem solving, basic mathematics
- Ability to maintain current job skills, especially in technology-related activities
- Understand school district requirements and policies
