Job Summary
Technical Director for Semiconductor and Battery fabrication facilities responsible for conceptual and detailed design of cleanrooms and dry rooms, development of layouts for semiconductor facilities, coordination with process utilities and architecture, and support for tender drawings, contractor submittals, and construction. Role requires ensuring compliance with SEMI, ISO, OSHA, EPA, NFPA standards; collaborating with vendors for equipment selection, installation, and validation; applying CFD and energy modeling; and providing technical guidance to junior engineers while supporting business development and proposals. Requires deep experience in semiconductor cleanroom design, process engineering, and cross-functional collaboration with architects, MEP engineers, and facility planners, plus strong communication and project-management skills.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Architecture or Engineering
- 15+ years of experience in semiconductor cleanroom design and process engineering
- Strong understanding of semiconductor manufacturing processes (lithography, etching, deposition, CMP, metrology)
- Strong knowledge of utility design for semiconductor FABs
- Experience with CFD, energy modeling and simulation tools
- Proficiency with AutoCAD, Revit, BIM, and IES-VE
