Job Summary

Partner with Design to interpret creative concepts into technically sound products, utilizing 3D development tools to accelerate prototyping and visualize construction. Build comprehensive tech packs, specs, BOMs, and graded measurement charts while developing construction methods and block patterns. Lead cross-functional teams through fit approvals from concept to production, communicating daily with global vendors to resolve technical challenges. Apply pattern making and marker efficiency knowledge to optimize fit and material usage, adhering to multiple calendar deadlines for samples and wear tests. Contribute to continuous improvement of technical design and product development processes.

Required Qualifications

  • A.A. Apparel Design or Apparel Production, or job related equivalent
  • 5+ years experience in pattern making and technical design

Desired Qualifications

  • Google Apps
  • Ms Windows
  • Adobe Illustrator
  • PLM
  • pattern design software (Optitex preferred)
  • 3D Development Software (Browzwear preferred)
  • Strong understanding of stretch fabrics, swim construction and fit
  • Proven ability to balance design vision with cost, manufacturability, and quality
  • Exceptional communication skills and a collaborative, solution‐oriented mindset
  • Ability to manage multiple deadlines and changing priorities in a fast‐paced environment
  • Dedicated team player
