Technical Designer / Pattern Maker

Lead end-to-end technical development of competition swimwear, focusing on high-performance construction, material optimization for drag reduction, and regulatory compliance. Partner with Design to interpret concepts into technically sound products, utilize 3D development tools to accelerate prototyping, and maintain comprehensive tech packs, specs, BOMs, and graded measurements. Develop and refine construction methods (ultrasonic welding, bonded seams, specialty construction), lead fit approvals from concept to production, and communicate daily with global vendors to resolve technical challenges. Apply deep pattern making, grading, and marker efficiency knowledge to optimize fit and material usage for non-stretch and high-modulus fabrics; contribute to block pattern development and collaborate with Design on new fits. Manage calendars and wear tests through pre-production, participate in process improvements, and lead special projects. Skills/abilities include Google Apps, Adobe Illustrator, PLM, Optitex, Browzwear, and strong collaboration and communication.
