Job Summary
Technical Designer role at Gensler focusing on collaboration with a multidisciplinary design team to develop innovative design concepts across all project phases, coordinating documents with clients, consultants, and regulatory agencies, creating graphic presentations, 3D models and renderings, and researching materials/building systems. The position requires a Bachelor's degree in Architecture (or equivalent), 0-5 years of related experience, proficiency with Rhino/Grasshopper/Revit/Enscape and Adobe Creative Suite, familiarity with sustainability and LEED is a plus, and strong communication skills for presenting design concepts and documentation.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, or equivalent
- 0 - 5 years of related project experience
- Proficiency in physical modeling, digital modeling, and visualization using Rhino, Grasshopper, Revit, and Enscape
- Expert use of Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign)
- Demonstrated commitment to sustainability and sustainable building practices a plus; portfolios ideally include one project with this particular focus
- Knowledge of materials, construction techniques, and building codes
- LEED accreditation a plus
- Demonstrated progress on AXP and/or ARE exams
- Excellent written, verbal, and graphic communication skills
