Technical Design & Projects Coordinator (MEP / Building Services)

Job Summary
Produce and amend technical drawings using CAD software while interpreting customer requirements and specifications. Support the sales team with technical input on engineering enquiries, coordinate design approval processes, and liaise with external CAD providers and fabrication suppliers. Review designs for manufacturability, identify design issues, and propose practical solutions to ensure projects are delivered to specification. Assist with project tracking, maintain technical documentation, and conduct occasional site visits when technical input is required. Act as the internal technical point of contact for engineering-related enquiries, bridging the gap between sales, customers, and fabrication partners.
Required Qualifications
- Previous experience within Building Services, MEP, Mechanical Engineering or a related technical discipline
- Experience using AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Revit or similar design software
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
Desired Qualifications
- Understanding of fabrication, pipework, bracketry, support systems or mechanical installations would be highly beneficial
- Good organisational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously
- Comfortable communicating with suppliers, contractors and internal stakeholders
- A practical problem solver who enjoys technical challenges
