Job Summary
Lead the Technical Delivery Manager role as the primary point of contact for the Missile Defense Agency customer, building trusted relationships and managing expectations for sustainment and enhancement efforts on an Appian-based suite. Drive sprint planning, prioritization, and backlog refinement while ensuring solutions are delivered on time, within scope, and with high quality. Serve as the interface between the government customer and development team, providing hands-on guidance on product architecture and customizations aligned with strategic direction. Work with the Helpdesk to build solutions for common user issues and track delivery metrics to report status to internal stakeholders. Ensure documentation standards and governance requirements are met while contributing to best practices and reusable frameworks.

- Ability to explain business process rules, government regulations, and government accounting to developers

- Experience in customer-facing roles
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Agile practices (Scrums, Sprints, Stories, etc.)
- Knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle
- Active Secret Security Clearance
- 10+ years of related experience with a master's degree or 15+ years of related experience with a bachelor's degree in business, technical, or related field
- Candidates must be within a two-hour commuting distance or be willing to relocate
- Must be available for weekend shifts
Desired Qualifications
- Experience leading teams of developers
- MS/MA in business, technical or related field with 10 years or greater of DoW Experience, especially in Software Development/Sustainment
- Experience with Appian or any SaaS Product
- Experience with Jira
- Knowledge of Government Acquisition Process
- Knowledge of Government Accounting and Financial Management
- Knowledge of Government Human Resource Management
