Technical Contracts Coordinator (Procurement)

Job Summary
Technical Contracts Coordinator to support Service and Procurement operations, including preparing, reviewing, administering, and maintaining contracts and purchase orders; coordinating with customers, suppliers, and internal teams; conducting valve sizing and technical product support; pursuing new business opportunities via tenders and government procurement sites; maintaining records and reporting; and participating in meetings, trade shows, and promotional activities. Requires post-secondary education in Business Administration or related field (or equivalent), strong organizational and communication skills, experience in fast-paced technical environments (valves/instrumentation/industrial maintenance), and proficiency with Microsoft Office and ERP systems. Location: Mount Uniacke, NS, Canada; in-person only. Responsibilities also include processing RFQs/RFPs, ensuring adherence to policies, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.
Required Qualifications
- Post-secondary education in Business Administration or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Prior experience in a fast-paced technical service environment such as valves, instrumentation, industrial maintenance, manufacturing, or similar would be an asset
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
- Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy and responsiveness to changing priorities
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
- Self-motivated and able to work independently while contributing as part of a team
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and ERP systems
