Job Summary
Drive technology design, optimization, and implementation for projects to accelerate customer outcomes. Assist clients with integration of Cisco tools and service assurance, translating business requirements into solution designs. Build customer simulations in test labs to resolve and validate issues, acting as the focal point for problem resolution across assigned engagements. Deliver customer collateral, documentation, and knowledge transfer while influencing solution architectures and services. Execute task/project implementation with ownership, sharing lessons learned and reviewing design recommendations and change management plans. Configure and deploy Cisco products using software skills and tools within Linux/Unix environments.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent
- 6+ years of relevant work experience
- Knowledge of at least one Customer Vertical / IT industry
- Expertise in software programmability, automation, orchestration and/or virtualization
- Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills
- Ability to function in ambiguous circumstances
- Expertise on relevant technology and software delivery methods like Agile, DevOps and SDLC
- Comfortable communicating in business Japanese
- Expertise in Software design principles (design patterns)
- Expertise in Object Oriented Programming concepts
- Expertise in programming using Java/Python
- Good exposure to Unit testing framework like Junit
- Good knowledge of parsing and REGEX
- Knowledge of Version control systems
- Experience in Linux/Unix environment
- Basic knowledge of Relational Databases like MySQL/PostgreSQL
- Experience in developing ReSTFul Web Services using XML/JSON
- Good analytical and problem solving skills and knowledge of Algorithms and Data Structures
- Experience in all phases of software development lifecycle with good working exposure to agile development methodologies
- Experience in working with external customers/stakeholders
- Exposure to DevOps concepts & tools
- Receives limited supervision
- Provides guidance and mentoring to other engineers
- Translates team goals into work assignments
- Being a trusted advisor & mentor
- Emphasis is on the facilitation of processes, solutions
Desired Qualifications
- Desirable to have experience in NETCONF, RESTCONF & Yang modelling
- Desirable to have exposure to Networking concepts
