Job Summary
Technical Consultant responsible for partnering with sales to design and recommend water treatment solutions across pretreatment applications; act as a trusted technical advisor to customers; support proposal development and provide technical expertise during the sales cycle; conduct site audits, deliver technical training to customers and internal teams, and represent ChemTreat at meetings and industry events; translate customer insights into product and solution improvements; operate with a high degree of autonomy in the field and travel up to 75% to support customers. Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biology, Engineering, or related field and 10+ years of pretreatment experience (membrane filtration, ion exchange, RO); strong ability to influence solutions in a customer-facing environment; willingness to travel extensively.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biology, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent field experience)
- 10+ years of experience with a major water treatment company and demonstrated technical expertise in pretreatment applications (membrane filtration, ion exchange and reverse osmosis)
- Experience supporting industrial water or wastewater treatment processes
- Ability to advise customers, influence solutions, and provide technical recommendations in a customer-facing environment
- Willingness and ability to travel up to 75%
