Job Summary
RecordPoint Technical Consultant responsible for delivering Data Migration services to migrate content from ECM systems, file shares, and legacy repositories into Microsoft SharePoint as part of customer engagements. You will onboard, deploy connectors, configure metadata pipelines, produce deployment runbooks, troubleshoot integration issues, and ensure delivery artifacts meet template standards. The role emphasizes working under a Project Manager, following structured playbooks and delivery frameworks, and collaborating with customers to tailor configurations to their requirements. The position targets a 3-month initial contract based in Australia, with eligibility requiring Australian citizenship and remote work not specified beyond a Sydney, NSW office. Responsibilities include onboarding execution, deployment and integration activities, quality gate contributions, and post-Gate 2 delivery support; preferred experience includes Microsoft 365/SharePoint, cloud deployments, data migration, and platforms like OpenShift, AKS, Docker, PowerShell, and scripting for automation. Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years in SaaS implementation, technical onboarding, or information management delivery.
- Experience in infrastructure or software architecture, with knowledge in associated technology areas such as databases and networking
- Experience in the design, build and deployment of Cloud solutions (PaaS and SaaS)
- Hands-on experience with connector deployment, metadata configuration, or integration tooling.
- Experience in migration clients from on-premise services to modern cloud solutions
- Experience in pre-sales engineering or solutions architecture for technology/software sales
- Comfortable working within structured playbooks and delivery frameworks
- Strong attention to detail and artifact quality
- Clear written and verbal communication with technical and non-technical audiences
