Job Summary
Technical Consultant role providing specialist technical expertise and advisory support to ship and shore teams to ensure safe, efficient vessel operations. Responsibilities include reviewing reports and providing feedback on surveyors’ quality, briefing surveyors prior to attendances, and offering technical clarification/support to the OPS team. Requires extensive marine leadership experience (Chief Engineer/Master Mariner) with strong report-writing, English fluency, and knowledge of condition inspections, internal and navigational audits, and pre-PSC inspections. Part-time position based in Mumbai, India.
Required Qualifications
- Experience: Work Experience: Experienced Technical Superintendent (Chief Engineer) or Experienced Marine Superintendent (Master Mariner)
- Minimum Qualifications: at least 25 Years of experience and at least 4 years as a C/E /Master/ TSI or MSI in any type of vessel.
