Job Summary
Technical Consultant role within Veeva Vault Technical Services focusing on designing and implementing scalable, high-performance integrations between Veeva Vault and third-party enterprise systems. Utilize the Vault Java SDK and REST APIs to develop custom extensions for seamless data flow and optimal performance. Collaborate with senior consultants/architects to apply best practices in software development, enterprise integration, and project management. Balance coding with client-facing responsibilities and travel up to 10%. Remote-friendly, full-time permanent position emphasizing hybrid collaboration across work-from-home and office environments. Nice-to-have skills include Spring, Maven, AWS serverless components, SSO/SAML, and broader AWS tooling.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of programming in Java or other object-oriented programming languages
- 4-year degree majoring in a technical field (Computer Science, MIS or equivalent)
- Proven analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Desire to go into a technical consulting career path
- Ability to travel up to 10%
- Experience with REST-based APIs
- Experience with Cloud Based Architecture
- Integration/Programming experience with REST-based APIs
- Ability to take technical concepts/solutions and educate non-technical audiences
